For that crowning touch to your canoe restoration or simply to admire. Our canoe decals are authentic reproductions and of high quality. Most of the old canoe companies placed a single decal on the bow deck of their canoes just before they left the factories. All come with instructions for application.
The metallic gold version of the Canadian Canoe Co. decal is thought to be earlier than the smaller multi-coloured shield which we believe to be from the 1940’s and 1950’s.

For lovers of the Chestnut Canoe, we have also reproduced the 12-inch hull decal. In the early 1950's the Chestnut Canoe Co. began the practice of applying a pair of single-word Chestnut hull decals to various of its canvas-covered canoes. They were placed just under the gunwale at about the mid-point along the hull. This practice was sporadic in the early years, but became more common in the 1960's and 1970's. Ours are identical to those used by the Chestnut Canoe Co., Fredericton N.B. Simply peel off and adhere in place.
Large fancy-script decals for runabouts, launches and cruisers made by the Peterborough Canoe Co. Used on old favourites like the Aqua Flyer, Handy Boy, Speedster, Monarch and Ambassador. These are old-style water slide decals. In the factory, the boat-builders applied them to the aft quarter of the hull on both sides. For that crowning touch to your restoration. Decals measure 15 in. long x 4 in. wide. Instructions for application included.
Shipping: If ordered by themselves, shipping for a pair of Peterborough hull decals within Canada is $7.50; $ 8.50 within USA and $9.00 to Great Britain and Europe.
