T o help you identify those old Chestnut canoes from Fredericton, N.B. we have condensed a brochure put out by the Chestnut Canoe Co. c. 1960 so that the 9 specification charts of the original now fit into a fold-out of sturdy card-stock. With our new Spotter's Guide you see at a glance the full range of canoes built by Chestnut Canoe - Pleasure, Freight, Cruiser, Prospector, Ogilvy, etc.

The charts show model name, dimensions, stern design (pointed, Vee or "Flat wide"), weight, weight of canvas and standard equipment, rib size and spacing, and standard finish from the factory.

The Spotter's Guide also contains the original brochure photographs of the Bobs Special pleasure canoe, the Kruger model cruising canoe, and the 18-foot Prospector known as the Voyageur model.

Keep one in the car and another in the drawer at home.
