Design lines for the Chestnut “Bobs Special” lightweight canoe done in a rich carmine red on the hull. Interior of the canoe done in warm varnished tones. The vibrant colours are applied by a special 4-colour process similar to that used in commercial colour printing. Makes you think of water-colors.
